Our Article Processing Charge (APC) policies promote open access publishing and a sustainable academic model. To cover publication and journal upkeep expenses, we have introduced the following APC policies:

Transparent Pricing

Our APCs are competitively priced and transparently communicated to authors during the submission and review process. The APC covers the cost of peer review, editorial services, production, hosting, and promotion of the published article. It ensures that the article remains freely accessible to readers worldwide without any subscription barriers.

APC Waiver and Discounts

We understand the importance of ensuring equitable access to publishing opportunities. Therefore, authors from low- and middle-income countries may be eligible for APC waivers or discounts. Eligibility will be assessed based on the World Bank Classification of Economies. Additionally, Sayans may offer APC waivers or discounts to authors facing financial constraints. Such requests will be assessed on a case-by-case basis, and decisions will be made at the discretion of the editorial team.

Payment Methods

Sayans accepts various payment methods for APCs, including credit/debit cards, bank transfers, and other secure online payment platforms. Details regarding payment methods will be provided to authors upon acceptance of their manuscript for publication.

Invoicing and Receipts

After the successful review and acceptance of an article, the corresponding author will receive an invoice for the applicable APC. The invoice will outline the payment details and options. Upon successful payment of the APC, authors will receive a formal receipt as proof of payment. This receipt can be used for any funding, reimbursement, or institutional reporting purposes.

Refund Policy

If an article undergoes an ethical review, and it is deemed not suitable for publication due to misconduct or violation of publication ethics, the APC will be fully refunded to the author. Once an article has been published and made available online, APCs are non-refundable.

Fee Transparency

Sayans maintains full transparency regarding APCs and any other associated fees. The APC information is prominently displayed on our website, and authors can access it easily during the submission process.
